About Us

The cluster is known as recognized hand-made mulberry silk production hub popularly known for Garod silk production in India and obtained Khadi mark. It provides livelihood to more than 600 local weaver-artisans. In 2019, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India and Khadi & Village Industries Commission supported Bijaypur Silk Khadi Seva Sanstha, SPV formed with weavers to shape “BIJOYPUR SILK CLUSTER” as vibrant one under the scheme SFURTI. Our Mission

Khadi & Village Industries Commission extended support to the artisans of the cluster with Common Facility Center (CFC) and capacity building training under Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industry (SFURTI) of Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India.

Our Artisans

The artisans have a well-equipped Common Facility Center with Design Lab, Reeling & Twisting section, Jacquard Loom for all type of silk saree production, fashion garments making and finishing section and modern show room. It is a model cluster in eastern India, runs on solar source of energy and lean manufacturing practices are followed.
